I'm With The Band
This tutorial was written by me (Vella) any similarities to other tutorials is just a coincedence.
This is what we will be making
This tut was written in PSP 9. It should be able to be done in version 7 and up.
You will need PSP and i assume you have a working knowledge of the tools.
Things you will need....
Animation Shop
2 filters...
Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow
Alien Skin - Xenofex 2 - Constellation
A scrapkit of your choice or...
the one i used was made by me and is a PTU kit.
It's called Rock It Like A Wench and you can find more info on how to get it HERE
A mask of choice, or the one i used from WeeScotLass which you can find HERE
It is called WSL_Mask7
Tube(s) of choice
I am using sexy tubes from Ismael Rac
If you want these awesome tubes you can pick them up from MyPSPTubes
Please do not use the same tubes without purchasing them and using a proper license for them
Open a new image 600 x 600
Floodfill with white
Open a paper of choice, i used Paper 10
Copy and paste into your image as a new layer
Go to Layers > Load Mask and choose WSL_Mask7
Merge > Group
Open a frame, or frames of choice
Copy and paste and then resize so all 3 will fit in your tag
You can see by my tag i have them staggered so they all look different lengths
Then using your selection tool, draw across the tops of the chains to make them all the same length, unless you dont want to
Delete whats in the selection and then deselect
Now open a flower, or flowers of choice...or of course another element if you want to use something else
Copy and paste then resize, duplicate if you want to use the same color, or use 3 different one like i did
Add drop shadows to all of them
Open the screwhead and copy and paste then resize to your liking and place in the middle of one of the flowers
Then duplicate the layer until all 3 flowers have one
Using your magic wand, select inside one of the frames
Go to Selections > Modify > Expand by 5
Copy and paste a paper of choice and drag that layer below the frame
Move the paper around so it looks good in the frame
Go to Selections > Invert and then click delete on your keyboard
Repeat this process for the other frames
Now open your tube or tubes of choice
Place your tubes in the frames how you like
Make sure you add a drop shadow to all of them
Once thats done, add a drop shadow to all of the frames
Open a drumset, microphone, speaker, amp and guitar of your choice
Copy and paste them all on separate layers and resize how you like
Add a drop shadow to all of them
Make sure you leave room below them for the reflection
Go to Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 5 > Impact > Perspective Shadow
I used different settings for each of the instruments
I will show you screenshots to help
This is the settings for the Speaker
This is the settings for the Microphone
This is the settings for the Guitar
This is the settings for the Drumset
This is the settings for the Amp
Now add a new layer and add all copyright and license numbers, if applicable
Now we are ready to animate
Make the Mask layer active
Go to Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Xenofex 2 > Constellation
Use these settings
Now Copy Merged your tag and paste as a new animation into Animation shop
Go back to your tag and hit Undo
Once again Go to the Constellation filter, this time hit random seed
Now Copy Merged once again and paste after current frame in your animation
Once again go back and undo and repeat the same steps until you have a total of 4 frames in your animation
Now you have your blank animation
You can either add a name to it and save, or you can save as a blank to use for later
And thats it!!
That wasn't too difficult, was it? lol
Now you can take a break!
